1. Acceptance of terms
By registering, browsing, posting jobs, placing bids, or using any part of TipTapp PL, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter binding contracts. Providers offering regulated trades (electrical, gas, construction, etc.) must hold valid licences where required by Polish law.
3. Account security
You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at privacy@tiptap.cy if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One person or business per account unless we approve a team account.
- Usernames are public; real names stay private unless you choose to share them.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. Languages
TipTapp PL is trilingual (Polish, Ukrainian, English). In case of inconsistency between translations, the Polish version prevails for users in Poland unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
5. Reverse auctions
Job posters publish service requests. Providers submit bids. The poster — not the platform — selects the winning bid. TipTapp PL does not auto-award the lowest bid.
6. Binding bids
When you submit a bid, you offer to perform the described work for the stated price. If the poster accepts your bid, you enter a contract with the poster. TipTapp PL facilitates that connection but is not a party to the service contract.
7. Payments & escrow
Payments are processed through Stripe. Funds are held in escrow and released according to job milestones, poster approval, or dispute resolution.
- Posters pay the accepted bid amount plus applicable fees at checkout.
- A platform fee (currently 10%) applies to completed transactions.
- Refunds and releases follow our escrow and dispute policies.
8. Cancellations
Cancelling after a bid is accepted may incur fees or escrow holds depending on work started and our dispute outcome. Repeated cancellations may lead to account restrictions.
9. Acceptable use
You must use TipTapp PL lawfully and respectfully. The following are prohibited:
- Fraud, fake listings, bid manipulation, or off-platform payment to avoid fees.
- Harassment, hate speech, spam, or sharing others' private data without consent.
- Uploading malware, scraping the site, or circumventing security.
- Misrepresenting skills, licences, insurance, or identity.
10. Messaging & content
In-platform messages help document the job. Do not share payment details to bypass Stripe. We may review messages for safety, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. See our Privacy Policy for data handling.
11. Listings & map data
Job locations use Mapbox. You grant TipTap LTD a licence to display listing text, photos, and approximate map coordinates to other users. Do not publish exact home addresses publicly if you prefer privacy — use area-level location where possible.
12. Reviews & reputation
Reviews must be honest and related to completed work. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or clearly unrelated to a transaction.
13. Dispute process
If a job goes wrong, either party may open a dispute. Escrowed funds are frozen until resolution. Both parties should provide evidence (messages, photos, milestones).
14. AI-assisted review
TipTapp PL may use automated tools (including AI) to summarise dispute statements, chat context, and milestone status. Recommendations assist human review — they are not a substitute for legal advice. You may request manual admin review.
15. Outcomes
Outcomes may include full release to the provider, refund to the poster, or partial split. TipTap LTD's decision within the platform is final for escrow release; your statutory consumer rights under Polish and EU law remain unaffected where applicable.
16. Marketplace role
TipTapp PL uses Stripe Connect. TipTap LTD sits between posters and providers for payment collection, escrow, and payout facilitation.
- Stripe processes card payments; providers onboard as Stripe connected accounts.
- TipTap LTD may withhold or release funds per these terms and Stripe's policies.
- Chargebacks and payment failures are handled under Stripe rules and our dispute process.
17. Provider onboarding
Providers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding (identity, bank details) to receive payouts. Incomplete onboarding may delay or block withdrawals.
18. Fees & taxes
Platform fees are disclosed at checkout. Providers are responsible for their own taxes, VAT, and business registration in Poland or their country of operation.
19. Platform liability
TipTapp PL is provided "as is". TipTap LTD is not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of services performed by providers, nor for poster non-payment outside the escrow flow.
20. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TipTap LTD against claims arising from your misuse of the platform, your services, or your breach of these terms.
21. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
22. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Courts in Poland have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law grants you rights elsewhere. Contact: privacy@tiptap.cy · TipTap LTD.
